My name is Sarah MacIntosh...I have never known a time where I wasn't singing. My whole family did. I remember family gatherings all being held with singing involved. If we ate, we sang first, if we opened presents for christmas, we sang first, if someone was sick or unhappy, we sang to them...i thought everyone's family did this. Boy was i wrong. First time at a friends house was quite a shocker. No singing! Because of this foundation in music i have always been drawn to melody and song as my way to vent frustrations, express joy or sadness, to reach out to someone, or to share something I have learned. It is almost easier to write a song about something than talk about it. As soon as someone hears a song of mine they are hearing part of who I am. The words in my songs are not put together to be catchy or clever but are carefully selected to portray what I need to say. In the end a finished cd of mine is basically an audio journal. So now I have a new cd coming out and it will be my first solo cd. I am excited and nervous at the same time...excited to share but nervous because it is so much a part of me. me...sarah mac, singer, songwriter, lucky wife, avid reader, runner, sister, daughter and most of all lover of Jesus.
