Samantha Marie http://virb.com/sayonara Virb 2.0 (@sayonara) en Tuna Pasta Salad yumz http://virb.com/sayonara/posts/text/7184338 I woke up this morning REALLY wanting Salmon Pasta Salad from Whole Foods but because I can’t shop for another 28 days =/ anyways so I went downstairs, found some random ingredients and threw it all together. Whole grain noodles, red peppers, onions, celery (yeah idk why i put celery but it still tasted good), evoo, and some random seasonings. And what else? NO SALMON AND ONE CAN OF TUNA. So I made the best of it and it tasted yummyyyyyy. It smelled really good too lol I’m so full right now and theres some left, I think I’ll take it to work and eat it for dinner. I’m doing good at this not shopping thing, even though its only been 3 days lol

She started her own hair product company recently so I’ve been excited to try this but since I’m on my “no shopping for 31 days” thing, I can’t buy any yet. Anyways, her first product is Avocado Shea Butter and it smells AMAZING. I sat there and smelled the sample when I first opened it for literally 2 minutes. I really wanted to rub it on my skin (and eventually, I did lol). The sample is pretty generous and I will be buying some when I’m able to shop again lol My hair loves it and my skin loves it. I know she didn’t intend for me to put it on my skin but because the ingredients are all natural and not greasy at all, I didn’t see a problem with putting it on my hands as a body butter type thing. I love body butter. If she put this same stuff in a big container and marketed it as body butter – I’d buy it. Wait, i’ll buy it anyway and just use it however I want lol. My hair is usually really dry and this left my hair pretty moisturized, especially my edges. While I’ve decided not to go natural anymore (mostly because I’m a clown and want my hair stick straight all the time) I can still benefit from this. She has them in 4oz jars ($10) and 1oz heart shaped tins ($2.50).

Second: Last night I went to my friend Sandra’s (@sandragraciela) New Years Eve get together thing at her apartment. Got to hang out with some people I haven’t seen in a while as well as some people I saw recently. I think everyone (that I knew) that I saw last night, I met at some point in 2009. Maybe not Karmin (iamkarmin.com) I’m sure I met her before then? Anyways, as far as nights go – last night was pretty good. I generally don’t drink but I drank a little. I didn’t really feel any kind of intoxicated until I get home.  I apologize ahead of time, I usually don’t like being in pictures and I hate my camera (I’m buying a panasonic lx3 soon in like 2/3 weeks! SHHHH)

So the other night (the night of the 26th) was one of my oldest and closest friend’s 21st birthday. We had so much fun and I’m extremely EXTREMELY happy she enjoyed her night because there was so much drama surrounding this party during the day. We went to some Morroccan restaurant in Alexandria then went to Fur and danced all crazy until we were asked to leave due to the birthday girl being way too intoxicated. Who cares though, it was her birthday. Ignore me, I look stupid.
