SCION ?

Scion is a brand of vehicles produced by Toyota Motor Corporation founded in 2003. Scion's long-term goal is to appeal to Generation Y consumers, expected to out grow the market size of Generation X by 2020. Scion grew from Toyota Project Genesis, a past effort to bring younger buyers to the Toyota marque in the United States. Scion is Toyota's entry-level brand, slotting before Toyota in the lineup.

Our goal from the start was to change the conventions of the auto industry. We set out to create an affordable, unique & sophisticated vehicle. We wanted to create a new environment for people to purchase a car in - the kind of place where you’re not sold a car, but rather where you would go to buy a car. Simple, straightforward & convenient - that’s Pure Price.

Here’s how it’s done: Scion’s Pure Price purchase experience means no haggle, no hassle. The price you pay for all products and services offered equals the dealership’s posted and advertised price. Price menus are clearly posted in the dealership showroom for all products and services. Dealers are free to set their own prices.

Toyota DNA

Scion means descendent. Think of Scion as the descendent of Toyota, a “remix” with its own strong and unique personality built on the greatest strengths of Toyota DNA: Quality, Durability, Reliability (QDR), and Value.

Monospec Philosophy

Scion is built around the monospec philosophy: a high level of standard equipment, a limited number of choices and options, and hundreds of accessories that the customer may select individually at time of purchase.

Scion Accessories

A monospec Scion is a “blank canvas,”and Scion offers dozens of accessories for the xA, xB ,xD and tC that allow a customer to express his or her individuality by creating a customized Scion vehicle. The customer can select and finance the accessories at the time of purchase. Scion does not “bundle” accessories in option packages. The customer buys only those accessories he or she wants.
