Hey there, I'm Scotti. I live in Ottawa, ON Canada. I work as a web developer at RealDecoy. I love my job and I love my life, though sometimes it can be hard.

My life these days can be briefly summed up in one sentence; Go to work, come home and eat, then sleep. I also hang out with my girlfriend, Jess, when she's not working. Other than that I don't do very much. :-)

Oh, one other thing that I am doing: saving up/waiting to purchase a Macbook Pro. Those things are so sweet. Do you have an Apple product or two?

I now have lunch for tomorrow 2 days ago

After a fun night of playing with my Virb profile I was just about to hit the sack. Then I realized I had some ground beef in the fridge. Since I'm going away this weekend I didn't want it to go to waste. So I decided to go cook the beef and make some late night Hamburgler Helper! It's was good, and better yet, I now have lunch for tomorrow.

Other than that, nothing new to report. Hmm, sleep time.

Just chilling out with Jess in my living room. She's on the Xbox 360 messing with a Rock Band band logo. I'm sitting on the couch with the lappy wishing it was my Macbook Pro. Oh well. Someday. :-)

Good night last night, sort of. A few people got drunk, which I think is stupid. Jess and I took the initiative to look after them a little bit and also cleaned up the mess that was my house. It wasn't that bad really, but I figured it should be done now rather than later when it would be worse, sort of like at the end of Sixteen Candles... when that hottie Jake Ryan goes and sits down on the couch to grab a half drunken beer. Then that other guy, Brian, he's stuck in or under that glass table thing and squeals for help. Yeah, good movie.

This laptop is making me even hotter. It's pretty hot out today. It's nice, but hot. Brandon, one of my roommates, and I were talking about getting some sort of air cooling device. Normally, I would be all over that, but I'm quite low on funds these days. It's a Dell Vostro 1500 if you were curious. Nice lappy, but it spits out the heat, and I'm not even playing WoW or anything.

Jess makes this really awesome meal that we had for lunch today. We fry up some cooked rice, then some eggs, then through some tomato and steak on top, with some salt. It's just really yummy. Tonight we're having scrumptious BBQ ribs.

I've been thinking about selling my Nintendo DS. I never play it and I need the extra money. I'll probably list it on UsedOttawa.com and Kijiji later tonight.

Been drinking a lot of water 3 weeks ago

Had some lat night schwarma plates with Jess tonight. It was good stuff. They always give you a lot of food too. I'm pretty stuffed though. Chicken shcwarma with all the other fixens. I'm not sure what most of it is, but it tastes good.
Been drinking a lot of water tonight. Do you ever drink a lot of water until you feel sick? It's weird. I like water. I'm really tired too.
Some of my American friends are up for the weekend. It's cool to see them again.

Normally I'm not the shopping type, but tonight I went out and bought me some new clothes at Old Navy. I hooked up my girlfriend Jess with some nice stuff too, especially since we found some good sales.
I was just thinking, about 5 years ago I would never have bought the stuff I did tonight, but I think peoples styles, ideals, and tastes change over time. I guess you might call it "maturing".
I'm trying to get a more professional look going I would say, even though I can wear pretty much whatever at my job. I like that aspect about my job.
I think we were at the mall for at least three hours. We were really tired after the whole ordeal, but I had a good time. Jess and I don't go out much so this was a real (and expensive) treat.
In other financial news, I'm attempting to work hard at making up and sticking to a budget. This would be good for many reasons, not just to try and save money. I'm trying to save up for a Macbook Pro which I plan on replacing my Windows PC. I have experience with Macs before, mainly when I go to my brother Paul's place. He has an iMac which I have fun playing with. Sometimes I get scared about getting one because of how much they cost and some videos I've see on Youtube and whatnot. I think it would be so fun to have one though.
