Young songwriter Scott Wesley combines pop, rock, and reggae in a bright new sound out of Chicago. The singer / guitarist is quite the instrumentalist, studying also piano, drums, and bass. He credits the Grateful Dead, Phish, the String Cheese Incident, and Moe as major influences in this regard.
As an artist, Scott has been most heavily influenced by the music of the Beatles, thanks to his Dad, who constantly played the Fab Four in their home when he was growing up. Scott credits this legendary group as his biggest influence, and the reason for his "pop" sound. As he got older, Scott also became a fan of solo artists like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Jason Mraz, Keller Williams, and Bob Marley. This unique blend of musical influences helped form Scott's own sound that you hear today.
