...Leaves the sun hot, fast and in solid company. Billions upon trillions of rays merged but slowly diverging. Transversing the emptiness, cooling but still seering hot. Approaches a blue and green orb, strikes an atmosphere and cools further while being stripped of energy. Now slowed, it falls like a warm summer rain, strikes an object and is diffused. Now slow, becoming lonely and getting cold, it slowly moves away. It strikes glass. And again. It passes through layers, being split, focussed and bent until it lands on a sensor...
And there, it is frozen.
