Biography
SEANCASE is one of the most prolific lyricists of the conscious Root Rock movement. Emerging in the latter half of the 90s. He was born KASALI Oluwaseun Abayomi on July 17 in Obanikoro, Lagos. The 1980s witnessed a dancehall explosion, and with the music came the lifestyle. SEANCASE watched carefully, collecting his lyrical ammunition. He began his career in the music industry in his late teen years. From the outset their relationship was one of mutual respect and inspiration. A run of successful singles like "Runnin", "Ko Ran Mi" and a host of others. Securing his position as a top conscious root rapper artist, he set about cultivating his role as a spiritual messenger. SEANCASE's combination of Roots Rap and Rock principles and up-to-the-minute hardcore rhythms made his hard line approach more palatable. A brilliant and passionate performer, SEANCASE broke boundaries, appealing to those looking for something new, music with depth. The number of mix tapes on the street are countless a lot of Kudos would be given to Clique Studios and SEASIDERS I.N.C. He also kick started his own music company Lou 'n' Tickz Records; this set the mark of his growth not only as a great root rap artist but also a record label executive and businessman. In a joint venture with SEASIDER I.N.C, his most recent collabos are slammin' HOTT. They are as prolific, infectious, and melodic as the previous tracks. In addition to his musical breakthroughs, SEANCASE continues to build different business opportunities to empower himself and the community by designing a lot of Websites for young enterpreneurs and develop skills. Currently, some of his new business initiatives include a signature TCU (Tickz Clothin' UNLTD) distributed by Swag Clothin' run by Olanrewaju Effiong; an outlet for preaching youth awareness and youth empowerment through Black Community, and a co-runs a recording studio with Roots Muvment; plus a dance community that takes young teens off the street and also to spread the WORD. As SEANCASE continues to build and grow, the community builds and grows but most importantly, he is creating opportunities for young people who sometimes don't have opportunities the same way he was given an opportunity.
