SCum è un collettivo musicale fondato nel 2002 da Cash(synth, sound manipulation) e Fetish(bass), due musicisti già operanti in altri progetti, uniti dalla comune passione per la sperimentazione musicale elettroacustica.
Il suono è principalmente basato su synth, suoni manipolati e basso ma a seconda della session collaborano con diversi musicisti.
Nelle esibizioni live sono accompagnati frequentemente da dei video studiati accoppiandoli alla musica e realizzati da diversi videomaker.
Nel suono di SCum si possono trovare dalle sfuriate power-electronics e industrial alla musica concreta realizzata con fields-recordings e suoni trovati, dall'incedere doom all'ambient più tenebrosa fino al post-rock più malinconico.
La loro musica è caratterizzata dal tentativo di riflettere gli stati d'animo più estremi e tenebrosi dei loro compositori in un tentativo di esorcizzarli tramite il rito catartico della composizione.
Infatti le loro musiche nascono in momenti particolari della loro vita e le loro tecniche compositive prevedono l'utilizzo di diversi metodi che inducono nell'ascoltatore uno stato di angoscia e di trance malinconica rimirando l'apocalisse imminente prossima ventura.
Hanno inoltre realizzato uno spettacolo di danze di fuoco e musica chiamato Feurenergie in collaborazione con il gruppo di sperimentazione di danza e teatro Chasma-Ges.
Fetish inoltre suona il basso nel gruppo rock n'roll punk Long Dong Silver mentre Cash suona in due differenti progetti : il gruppo industrial-metal Filthy Generation e il progetto elettronico sperimentale Bite the sun.

SCum is a musical collective founded in 2002 by Cash and Fetish , two Italian musicians already operating in other projects, joined by the common passion for the elettroacustical musical experimentation.
The sound is mainly based on synth, manipulated sounds and bass guitar, and they collaborate with various musicians depending on the session.
In live exhibition they are often accompanied by video coupled to music and based on it.
In SCum's sound is possible to find power electronics and industrial assault, concrete music realised with fields recordings and founded sounds, doom stomps, dark ambient and melancholy post-rock harmonies.
Their music is an attempt to express the feelings more extreme and dark of their composers for exorcize it in a cathartic rite of the composition.
Their music born in a particular moment of their life and in a particular days and situation. We utilize a different methods for music writing that create in listeners an anguish state and a melancholy trance to think about the end of all and of yours obscures moments.
Their have realised a show of fire dances and music called "Fuerenergie" with a group of dance and theatre experimentation Chasma-Ges.
Fetish play the bass in a rock'n roll punk band Long Dong Silver. Cash have another two musical projects: industrial-metal band Filthy Generation and the electronic experimental project Bite the sun.
