Born in Miami to Cuban and Argentinian parents, Sean Bauzay began drumming in 1989 while in the marching band at Miami Coral Park Senior High School. He later marched for the University of Miami drumline from 1991-1995. Since the early 1990s Sean has been involved with the Miami local music scene; both original and cover bands. Sean's former original band from the mid-nineties simply named "Y" is currently working on their 2nd full length studio release. Recorded at Gloria and Emilio Estefan's Crescent Moon studios and Criteria studios in North Miami, their first studio full length release entitled "Radio Smoke Box" was released in early 1996. You can now listen to and download the entire Radio Smoke Box album here on this site.
Y began work on their sophomore album in 1999 and had to abandon the project due to personal reasons within the band. Seven years later, Y have decided to finish the album and release it sometime in early 2007. Check out Y's myspace page for more info (and add us to your friends list!): myspace.com/yband.
Sean's also a dj.....still strictly vinyl... He began his dj career in 1999 after having been highly influenced by Electronic Dance Music in the mid nineties. His style now varies from progressive, techy, lounge house to old skool and new skool, progressive breakbeats and some electro too.
In the Spring of 2000 Sean landed his first gig at Miami Beach's legendary Groove Jet night club spinning old school breakbeats. Since then he has expanded his range of style from solely breakbeats to a mix of both house and breakbeats.
In the Fall of 2001 Sean entered and won the 2001 Cooljunkie.com dj competition with his progressive house demo, "Disconnected". The prize for winning the competition was an opportunity to perform at Miami's world famous Club Space. In November of 2001 Sean opened up for DJ Edgar V in the main room of the old Club Space and began to gain a fan base in Miami.
That event ignited his dj career and since then Sean has gone on to play at most major clubs in Miami and Miami Beach including Space, Level,Crobar, Billboard Live, The Living Room and Rain. He also played at the 2003 Ultra Festival in Miami.
Following the release of his latest demo entitled "Buildings", heralded by many local critics as a top notch progressive house mix, Sean has performed even more often and at bigger events such as opening up for Confucius of Rabbit in the Moon twice and performing at performing at Hallucination Recordings parties Hallucination B4 Christmas 2002 ,Blood on the Turntables 2003, and Hallucination B4 Christmas 2004.
Thanks to a recommendation by DJ Monk (of Rabbit in the Moon fame), Sean got to perform in Puerto Rico twice at Club Sala in Old San Juan headlining the main room two Saturday nights in a row.

Soma have decided to release a free single! It will be released exclusively with One Week To Live as the UK magazine prepares to go completely digital. The decision came after Soma were tiring of seeing releases on illegal mp3 websites. It will be available athttp://www.OneWeekToLive.com
Who better to try out such an experiment than the debutant Let's Go
Outside. Following massive response from the likes of Josh Wink, Ivan
Smagghe and Andrew Weatherall for his debut release on Soma's experimental offshoot Pnuma Records, Soma believe that it's only right for Let's Go
Outside to play with the big boys on this release.
Let's Go Outside hails from Portland, Oregon where he first released on
small local experimental label, Buried In Time. He then moved onto
Bradford-based Midnight Recordings before being picked up by Pnuma shortly after. Citing his influences as "techno, techno, techno and Tetris", LGO also takes inspiration from IDM, ambient and electro, all of which are
evident in this three-tracker.
Early 2008 will see the re-release of I'll Lick Your Spine by LGO (originally on Pnuma). This will feature remixes by Massi DL and label mate, Vector Lovers. Let's Go Outside's debut album, 'A Picnic With The Hunters', is due for release in January 2008.
