12.7.08: LITTLE JOY VIDEO
HEY KIDS! Rocksteady meets PBS in the debut music video for LITTLE JOY (Fabrizio Moretti of the The Strokes, Rodrigo Amarante of Los Hermanos and Binki Shaprio) complete with charming split-screen effects from the heyday of 1970s TV. Special guest appearances by Nick Valensi (The Strokes), Devendra Banhart and Greg Rogrove (Megapuss) and more. If you love the Jonas Brothers like I don't then these names mean absolutely nothing to you. The name 'Megapuss' alone probably makes you feel weird. It makes me feel weird. Get your retro on y'all.

12.6.08: TESTING THE WATERS
I'm currently looking into representation for my work as a director in videos and commercials. I've had a number of places expressing interest, but I want to make sure I find the right home. Any recommendations or leads for production companies are welcome! I'm also interested in judging beauty pageants, and I make a mean-
... food... dish.

A rapidly flapping left hand and blank stare responses are a sign of a promising director.
12.5.08: HI-DEF
After much research, trial and error, I've come to the conclusion that eating is the best way to get fat, and that Vimeo is the best place to host HD video. Check out a few of my projects on my channel by clicking the image below:

12.4.08:
INDY IV,
STAR TREK &
TERMINATOR SALVATION
Sorry for the lack of up- well not that anyone cares, but there's been a lack of updates, because it's been a really hectic 2008. I spent much of the past year back with some old friends at Lucasfilm-ILM working on designs for Indiana Jones, Star Trek and Terminator Salvation (pretty much everything nerds like). The new Terminator trailer has a brief glimpse of one of my designs - The Moto-Terminator. Click the image below to view the clip. Fanboys, starting your bitching in 3...2...1...

11.19.08: I MISS PRACTICAL MODELS
For those of you like me who miss the look of practical models (as opposed to CG), someone just sent me a REAL model they built off of one of my unused designs for Revenge Of The Sith. Special shout out to Matt Meyer (model builder) Kurt Kuhn (photographer) for their beautiful work! HI-FIVE! Click on the image below for more pics.
P.S. Cindy Crawford was a practical model too, because she didn't go too far on a limb with her career-
Hello? Is this thing on?

11.17.08: NEW DESIGNS
I've been doing a variety of contract jobs over the past few months.
It sounds mysterious and perhaps dangerous, but it pretty much just involves me, paper, pencils, and a microwave bean burrito... drawing alone like a huge nerd. Here is a preview of some designs that will appearing on a line of products next year.

6.30.08: STROKES VIDEO TO SHOWCASE IN A FILM FESTIVAL
I got a request for The Strokes 'You Only Live Once' video to play at the Festival du film d'animation pour la Jeunesse. I have no idea what this festival is, but I do know the name is in French and it sounds neat. But why go to France when you can just watch it here?

5.9.08: 27 DRESSES PROMO
Finally found the old footage from this mock-infomercial we shot late last year... It was funny when we filmed it, but now maybe I'm not so sure. I can't sleep at night because I think the Funny Or Die people are out to kill me.
Don't forget to click on the VOTE button anyway!

1.18.08: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I'm in San Francisco working on a few projects at Lucasfilm. I'll probably be back in LA sometime in February. Or maybe not. **UPDATE** Not.

10.21.07: GRIEVOUS SIGNATURE SERIES ACTION FIGURE
My limited edition signature series action figure is now on sale exclusively at
STARWARS.COM . Pick one up before they are gone! (Then again, there may also be a tremendous surplus that they are unable get rid of.) Then run to a post office and mail it to Marci Velando at the ILM Art Department for me to sign because she loves it when you do that! Just kidding, Marci.
**UPDATE** I finally clicked on my own link and discovered that they've marked down the price from $16.99 to $15.99. My worst fears have come true. I can only assume that my action figures aren't selling like hotcakes like I was led to believe and they can't get rid of them. I might have to buy the remaining boxes just to save face. The head marketing guy is probably shaking his head thinking, "This was a terrible miscalculation."
