However, with the dedication of a small team of artists, especially VFX supervisor Louis Katz and Laundry Design, we were able to create a moving and memorable cinematic experience that we are all very proud of.

On Halloween 2003, I dressed up as Jack Sparrow for a costume party. Before going out, my friend happened to have his camera on him, so I hammed it up and told the only two pirate jokes I knew. He later gave me the footage, and with the magic of editing and amateur foley, I was able to create this 1 minute short.

I initially did an illustration as a concept for a special edition album cover, but she and her management team loved the anime look so much that they wanted me to create a TV spot in that style to air during the 2001 MTV Movie Awards. I collaborated with animator Robert Valley and Wild Brain Studio to help bring the cell drawn animations to life.
