That "doep-spunp" track is a most soothing shuffle -nice! I'd call it open-freeway-driving music, 'cept I don't have a car.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany!

Hello Seiche,
Back in the day when rap was new there was not a lot of rap groups. When "Egypt Egypt" came out it was called Rap or Hip Hop. Later it became Electro Funk and then Old School and now Electro and still known in the rap world as old school hip hop. It was the begining of the west coast movement. And yes those days were fun. Dr. Dre and the Wreckin Kru, L.A. Dream Team, Arabian Prince, The Knights of the Turntables, Uncle Jamm's Army and so so many to follow. I'm glad you bought it back in the day and today I hope you still play it...Egyptian Lover
