[Bell 03, Electronic Desert, 13.08.2007] Selectone was set up in 2004 by David Rambousek, a musician from Czech Republic and co-founder of DIY label Mufonic Recordinx (now he heads the label Ressonus Records). Born in 1975, he began his electronic experiments in 1993. Nowadays he opted for the old and often damaged instruments to shape his specific sound. Selectone works with glitches, tape manipulations, sound deconstruction & recyclation and field recordings. His aim is to push the lo-fi sounds through various styles to the ambient perfection.
