Señor Frio is 1/2 of Camino Acid (w/ SciFiSol), 1/2 of Dirty Panda (w/ [Sik]) and 1/3 of I.D.M. (Irreconcilable Drum Machines w/ Ignatius & Gasp of Buried In Time), producing electro and techno tracks for nearly 4 years now. Plus, I was part of an electro-duo with Roshi called Ainu and we put out an album on Toast & Jam Records called "Octoporn".
ATTENTION:
Check out the new compilation, "Acid Offspring" on Buried in Time records! Many dope tracks... including "Hat Jail" by yours truly... you can hear part of the track in my player! Check out the Buried in Time microsite on Addictech!
Frio's solo style still holds its roots in electro, yet incorporates the elements of downtempo, house, idm and techno. Having played solo gigs at Holocene, KPSU, Noir, Smart Bar in Chicago, and the Decibel Festival in Seattle, he has honed his skills at engaging the listener with his own brand of techno-eroticism while gaining supreme knowledge in rocking the dance floor. Señor Frio's first release has just come out on Digital Distortions. His first techno release has come out on the Narita records Terminal 2 compilation. Some may think the machine music is cold but Señor Frio es muy caliente!

Soma have decided to release a free single! It will be released exclusively with One Week To Live as the UK magazine prepares to go completely digital. The decision came after Soma were tiring of seeing releases on illegal mp3 websites. It will be available athttp://www.OneWeekToLive.com
Who better to try out such an experiment than the debutant Let's Go
Outside. Following massive response from the likes of Josh Wink, Ivan
Smagghe and Andrew Weatherall for his debut release on Soma's experimental offshoot Pnuma Records, Soma believe that it's only right for Let's Go
Outside to play with the big boys on this release.
Let's Go Outside hails from Portland, Oregon where he first released on
small local experimental label, Buried In Time. He then moved onto
Bradford-based Midnight Recordings before being picked up by Pnuma shortly after. Citing his influences as "techno, techno, techno and Tetris", LGO also takes inspiration from IDM, ambient and electro, all of which are
evident in this three-tracker.
Early 2008 will see the re-release of I'll Lick Your Spine by LGO (originally on Pnuma). This will feature remixes by Massi DL and label mate, Vector Lovers. Let's Go Outside's debut album, 'A Picnic With The Hunters', is due for release in January 2008.
