Laurel turned 2 months old today. Happy 2 month birthday, you get to go to the doctor and get stuck in the leg 3 times. From what I hear she screamed for about 15 minutes and then went to sleep. She was still so upset that she was whimpering in her sleep. When she woke up, she screamed some more. In addition, the doctor also told us that we needed to extend her feeding intervals from 1½ - 2 hours to 3-4 hours because she had gotten in the habit of snacking. I think we will wait until she feels better to start changing the feeding schedule. In all, I think this has to be the worst day of Laurel new life. Just when we were sure she liked it out in the world better than the womb, we have this setback. I am quite certain she is reconsidering whether the whole birth-thing was worth it. If she were older we could go get ice cream and everything would be set right, but all she gets is milk. Pooooor Laurel.
