Recruited to the highly respected Haywire agency after witnessing her sets at the art-inspired electro night Nerd which she co-promoted, London based DJ Shelley Parker soon became a firm fixture on the UK underground electronic circuit. She swiftly progressed to playing across the UK and Europe at venues such as Fabric, The End, Stealth, Moog (Barcelona) and Maffia (Italy). Her versatility and refusal to be restricted to one style, has seen her play alongside all manner of varied and high profile artists. She adeptly flicks between genres and maintains a dark minimal edge underlying the mix. She has been highly commended by many for her discerning ear and programming skills, all of which led her to become the first choice for the residency slot at the monthly Haywire Sessions night at the T Bar in London. It was during these 3-4 hour sets that she continued to forge her DJ path and cement her unique sound.

Including working on her own studio productions, as well as developing her label Structure, she also forms part of the Ammunition radio team for Combat Recordings on Play FM, where she has explored a more experimental side to her sets. This year she was invited to play at the Cybersonica Festival at Tate Britain and the Soundwaves Exhibition at the Kinetica Museum which challenged her further to forward her ideas in a completely different environment to the club space. She has also recently launched her own night Structure at the T Bar. This is a free monthly electronic event showcasing a cross-section of DJ's, lens-based artists and live performances: all chosen for their integrity and alliance to electronic music.
