Description: LACMA's annual free weekend from Friday, June 22 through Sunday, June 24 is a celebration of light, featuring Dan Flavin's luminous installations and kicks off with the Late Night party on the summer solstice, Thursday, June 21. Last year's Late Night attracted thousands, and this year promises to be even more popular--with live performances from local sensations Ima Robot and The Rebirth, sets by DJ Steve Aoki, food stands overflowing with L.A.'s street faves, personalized T-shirt screenings, book signings, interactive art murals, special preview screenings of the new remake Hairspray and Sundance winner In the Shadow of the Moon, and much more. The night is guaranteed to overwhelm all your senses and is the perfect way to celebrate the warm summer months ahead.
