      <description><![CDATA[<span class="artist">The Word</span> have announced a handful of reunion shows at the turn of the year. The band, consisting of Robert Randolph, John Medeski and members of North Mississippi Allstars, will play Philadelphia, PA on December 30th, New York City on News Year's Eve and Ft. Lauderdale, FL on New Year's Day. The group will also play two dates on <a href="http://www.jamcruise.com/2010/home.php">Jam Cruise 8</a>. The film was compiled from footage shot during 2009's rehearsals and summer touring as well as "recounts Blur's highs and lows." The film will see a worldwide and DVD release following the UK stint.
