I grew up and still live in a typical suburban township on the southern side of the northern Utah border. That's right, below Idaho, to the right of wonderful Nevada, and to the left of the great state of Wyoming. In my late teenage years I got really tired of the poor music coming out of my radio so I thought I'd make my own. After listening to a substantial amount of Nirvana, Beck, the Halo Benders and some other K selektions I decided that making my own music (with a little help from a friend) would be much more enjoyable, not only for myself but for the listener (you) as well. So I ripped off a whole bunch of time and money and bought a Fostex 4-track tape recorder. We taught ourselves how to play more instruments and more importantly, how to record the wonderful sounds resonating from them. It worked out alright and I had fun doing it. This is pretty much the result. I hope you have fun listening.

Update: Some, if not all of the songs you hear are now made on my fancy laptop computer (the tape recorder was cheap and it wore out). It's nice but if you want to hear more of the older (cooler) stuff check out my website www.singlefinger.com. Oh and let me know what you think about the music.
