Sister Kate will be one of the performers at the Century Masters Weekend's Young Talent Showcase. We are excited to be part of such a wonderful event. Buy your tickets early! (all ages, $15) The showcase starts at 8:30pm, but there is a Vernacular Jazz Class and dinner at 6pm, followed by a "Race, Social Change, & Dance" panel at 7:15. If you missed our new parasol routine when we debuted it at the Jump Session Show, you have another chance to see it Sunday, July 20th, during the all ages swing dance at the Century Ballroom in Capitol Hill, Seattle.

The Jump Session Show is on Friday, May 23rd, 2008 at Kane Hall 130 at the University of Washington, Seattle. Doors Open at 6:45pm, and the show will start at 7:00, going until about 8:45pm. Tickets for the general public should be available at the door for $20.

Sister Kate will be part of the "One O'Clock Jump: Swing & Jazz Extravaganza" this Saturday, February 16, at 7pm, at the Lopez Center on Lopez Island. We will be performing four numbers! Tickets are $10. more details here

Sister Kate has been asked to go up to Vancouver on November 17 to teach a girlie dance workshop, and we couldn't be more excited!
