Oh man...just got back from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. They were amazing. Might be seeing them again tomorrow too. You seen those guys? I'll post photos on my Flickr page soon.

ya? well i will be totally jealous of you when and if you go there!!! thats fabulous. Right now I have been doing everything from still life to portraiture. I really like doing portrait but i haven't had much experience with it yet. I like still life and trying to find an artistic or abstract view out of things....and I shot some at a yyy's concert.....and i wasn't so hot at it haha..i have a lot to learn when it comes to lighting. I am doing a friends wedding in september which i am really excited about-but i am a little nervous about that. but my friend knows that ive never done a wedding and she still wants me-so what the heck? ...i guess haha.. so i guess i dont have a certain type just yet!

wow that would be amaazing. i really wanted to go there-no joke. but its forever away and i wouldn't have been able to afford it = ( good luck with all of that! i hope you get your financial aid all worked out. i didn't take any photography classes either but i will be and i am pretty excited about it. i have a lot to learn still. hope youre having a fab day!

Thanks for the nice comments. I guess photography and design do kind of go hand in hand, but trust me, not everyone is a good photographer and a good designer. It's hard to be both. Nice pics. Take it easy.

ya i am a nikon girl = ) but i don''t have anything against canons either. when i was younger i used my parents 35mm minolta camera. i took really horrible photos of things like my grandmas house and a barn and oh my...everything haha..but I thought I was really good-and I felt like a professional when I would have to focus the lens... But now I use a NIkon D50. I am the same way with you-I prefer digital because I take so many photos and it is much cheaper. I do have an old nikon 35mm that I got from an antique shop that I haven't gotten to use yet-and I left it at my house when I moved to school!! Soo I am going to have to get that soon. It's way cool that you develop your own photos-that is something I don't know how to do but I will be learning in one of my classes hopefully next semester. Photography is just fabulous...
