About
Skaylz is a mixer / engineer / producer / dj from Toronto.
From an early age Skaylz was drawn to music. Being exposed to everything from classic rock, retro, reggae and hip hop. This obsession lead him down many avenues. With a love for all genres of music Skaylz also loved to hear fresh sounds and new music. Finally in 1992 Skaylz was introduced to electronic music and a couple of years later he found himself emersed in jungle / drum and bass.
Currently Skaylz does everything from production work to mixing and recording. He works for a high end recording studio located in the heart of Toronto. He has years of experience with music and is building his work level and resume at a constant pace.
To date Skaylz has accomplished many musical projects such as producing a soundtrack for an independent film documentary (while under the moniker "Broad Desire"), recorded countless live acts in the studio, played at all the biggest clubs in Toronto and released 3 singles when he was the engineer / producer for the drum n bass outfit "NC-17".
