Not quite the Disney we all know and love

It seems like everyone past elementary school age knows about the dirty little secrets in classic Disney movies. You've fast-forwarded through The Lion King for ages trying to find the word "sex" in a cloud of dust and scanned The Little Mermaid posters to find the tower shaped like a penis. These, however, are not the only darker aspects to the Disney movies we all know and love. Sex, drugs, and racism are more prevalent in these childhood classics than you might think. The mental_floss blog has a quiz to see if you can match all the the controversial material to the movie.

Simpsonize Me!

It isn't often that a commercial doesn't actually explain how great the product is. I'll bet that you've seen the ads for The Simpson's Movie, and might remember the URL that they give (simpsonizeme.com). But if you actually do bother to go there, you will find a wonderful application that turns a photo of you into a Simpson's character. Is it perfect? No. Is it free and easy? Yes siree. Do I recommend giving it a whirl? Absolutely.
