Singer Wanted

What You Need to Know

We are looking for a singer (male or female), age 18-22, who has extensive experience with performing and singing.

Extensive experience with performing means that you have played a countless number of shows. Touring experience would help your chances significantly, but is not necessarily required for your acceptance into the band.

Extensive experience with singing means that you have a heavy background of singing and recording. We want to know how long you have been singing, and we would like to hear past recordings in addition to your audition (if possible).

In the past, many have asked us what kind of a sound are we looking for.
We want a loose, dynamic sound when it comes to vocals. Singing on key is a must, although we understand that perfect pitch is almost impossible, solid singing is required. We want a vocalist that can push their limits. We want a little a bit of rasp in the voice if the music yields such sound, and a smooth breathy voice in the next moment if it is appropriate. Screaming could be appropriate in certain areas of our music, but we want to put an emphasis on the word "Singer."
Here is a list of vocal influences that would be complimentary to the Sleepwalker Dining sound:
	The Dear Hunter
	Circa Survive
	As Tall As Lions
	Envy On The Coast
	Emarosa
	Paramore

Excessive drug use will NOT be tolerated, however, we understand that everyone holds the right to get their groove on.

If you are interested in recording an audition please contact us at Sleepwalkerdining@gmail.com, and we will send the mp3 for your audition.

We would also like to thank you for visiting our page and showing interest in the unstoppable force known as Sleepwalker Dining.
