Read All About It: Corruption and Racketeering has given way to Celebration!

Esteemed Colleagues,

Once again it is time to dust off our Rambler and make it on down
the road. Yes that's right, yet another tour to feast your ears upon.
Perhaps to you it's strange that we would leave our wooded homes to
wander the highways and byways of this fine land. But with audiences
like you we can't bear to stay away.

By carefully analyzing the charts and graphs here in the Squirrel
Nut Zippers Laboratories (SNZL), we have concluded that audience
participation is at a new high. Truly titillating statistics!
According to our information, Square Dancers ranked highest in boogie
satisfaction, but beer drinkers ranked highest in musical
satisfaction. We cross referenced cross dressers and found that beer
drinking cross dressing square dancers seemed to fair the best in
terms of over all concert satisfaction. Whatever you are, whatever
you wear, please come have a ball ya'll.

In addition to the fine show we aim to put on for you, we are
pleased to introduce a wonderful band by the name of Pistolera, who
will be performing in Falls Church and Richmond. We met them at a
festival in British Columbia and knew we had to have them for a show
or two. Our research here in the SNZL has verified this choice as
scientifically sound. And if that's not enough, we are also throwing
in 4 concerts with Backyard Tire Fire at no additional cost to you.
They will fire up the nights of Charleston SC thru Knoxville TN. We
have one more notable mention - our dear friends The Old Ceremony will
also be joining us in Knoxville. Our beloved Gabriel Pelli is
perpetually on loan from them.

In the world of recorded sound, YOU will be most pleased to learn
that our team of researchers has finished analyzing the data from our
most recent concert recordings. The logarithms have been scribed to
disc, the fingers printed. A wonderful and wild night of music
captured on tape can soon be released back into the wild to YOU my
wild and wooly friends. While the release date is still TBA, we can
tell you it is rapidly approaching. Beware; you might be a part of
it.

In closing friends, let me tell you, from all of us, to all of
you, Peace, Take Care, and Give no Wooden Nickels.

Kindest Regards
Mr. Finklestein

:: The New General Store Is Open ::

We very much like to peddle our wares to you in person, but unlike
Santa Claus we've yet to perfect the skill of visiting every town in a
single night. We also realize that we don't posses magical reindeer
that can cart around enough toys to grant the wishes of every little
boy and girl. So we asked the good folks at Kung Fu Nation to help us
out with this dilemma and we're very pleased to report that you can
now shop from the comfort of your closest computer terminal. Our
online store is currently located at:

:: Assorted Nuts ::

Do you ever find that consuming one single Squirrel Nut Zipper doesn't
satisfy your hunger?
We here at SNZ headquarters are of the opinion that just one is never
enough. Our personal recommendation is that you consume as many as
possible. It is our pleasure and our duty to make sure you are well
aware of where the tastiest treats can be found. The following list
of confections are available for immediate consumption:

Firecracker Jazz Band (featuring Je Widenhouse and Henry Westmoreland)

Available in the following markets this week: WV, NY, MA, RI

Jimbo Mathus
http://www.myspace.com/jimbomathus
