I took some time today to organize our page a little more, adding some icons, and hopefully making our "business" model a little more understandable. I put business in quotes, because it's not exactly business. We're not trying to make any money. We're just trying to get our music heard.
So here's the simple explanation. You can download our music for free. You can then do whatever you want with it (podcast, video, mashup, remix, etc...). The money part is kind of an afterthought. Basically, we never want anyone to have buyers remorse with our tunes. I know it's happened to everyone, where you buy a cd for one song, bring home and listen to it, then hate the rest of the album. You'd like to return the cd, or maybe just pay for that one song. Well this is our way of letting you do that. Say you download our album, only like one song, and say "alright, well maybe that's worth a dollar..." Then go ahead donate a dollar with the paypal button. Hell, maybe you like the whole album and wanted to donate $10...
Either way though, I'm going back and forth in my head wondering if this is all just wishful thinking or if people do value music enough to pay for it when it's not attached to any evil associations like the RIAA. I guess we'll find out.
