An informal, (reasonably) non-competetive songwriting challenge, based on a new, mutually-agreed theme each fortnight (or so)
The songs you'll hear on this Virb page are the musical fruits of SongOff*. They have all been composed by musically talented (...musically twisted?) employees of the Brighton-based games company, Zoe Mode. The SongOff concept was thought up early in 2008 by Mr. Wilx as a way of experimenting with new composing techniques, growing our songwriting toolboxes and learning from each other in a fun way. It's been enough of a success so far that we thought we should gather our achievements in one place...you'll find our songs grouped by theme...
Any suggestions for new themes are welcome (if you're a Zoe Moder and are going to join in, we'll take them even more seriously!).

SongOff Challenge #3
Write a song with these two features:
1) it's got to be in an irregular time signature...5/8, 7/8, 9/8, 5/4 etc.
2) it should include an unusual modulation of some sort in the chorus...you're free to define "unusual"...you'll know if you're cheating...
