About
Hi, I'm Dan and this my music. I've been playing in different bands for years but this page is specifically for the stuff I do on my own. I call my one man band Sonic Real Estate cos it's less boring than my real name and it sounds better, don't worry I don't have multiple personalities or anything, it's all me ;)
The stuff I do is quite eclectic really, I like so many different styles that it's hard to stick to one for very long. I suppose the main themes are funky rhythms, a mixture of eclectic & acoustic instruments and my slightly girly vocals. Yes it really is me singing, which is hilarious when you see what I look like haha, check out the pictures to see what I mean. I play all the instruments and do everything in my home studio.
Very Important News: I've just started my own music blog over at sonicrealestate.net where I'll be posting new tracks with production notes as and when I make them, I aim to put out something new each week or at least something old that you won't have heard. The blog will feed through to here but if you really want to get the full effect please visit my site. Thanks :)

Good question Charlie, I will definitely put some new tunes out as soon as I get a chance to record them, been a bit crazy lately. I might also do some acoustic videos and put them up with YouTube. It's all in the pipeline, it's just that the pipeline seems to be a little blocked at the moment :)
