I am young and determined. Every day brings me closer to my goals and every day gives me a greater sense of my own self. I am a geology student with a desire to earn a PhD in Volcanology. I want to spend my life working with active volcanoes. Some people think I am joking when I tell them that. Make no mistake - I am not joking. I enjoy spending time with my family and my friends. I have one older sister and she has been an inspiration all my life. I have a bird named Corky and he feels more like a child than a pet. I enjoy reading and writing - especially writing. I have several online journals and have been keeping an offline journal since 2000.
