What you show me when you've gotten all fixed up and all made up is not really who you are. Don't get me wrong, it looks wonderful and very magnetic, but it does not really demonstrate the real you. We've got so many artificical tools and tricks to make us appear to be a lot more of anything than what we are. When used properly these tools really fool the eye. There is however a lesson in all of this. It lies in admitting to ourselves when we are allowing issues and circumstances to push our personailties and characters to the rear, while yielding to artificial smiles, conversation, rhetoric, relationships and expressions of compassion to stand in front. That's not who you are. The real you lies deep within that heap of make-up and underneath that cheesy grimace. It's been a lonog time since we saw you. Please come back....I miss you!
