About
Hello. My name is Jonathan. My friends call me JP. My dad, family, and older people call me Jon Paul. My musical alias is Soundmind and this is the primary site for my audio sketches. Personally...HipHop, Downtempo, Nu-Jazz, Gospel and Experimental music is what I primarily make. The last few years, however, I've been apart of an electronic collab called [co]sen_tasi; which consists of The Deep Element (surachai sutthisasanakul) and myself. I do editing / engineering work as a profession. I grew up in Pennsylvania. Currently I am moving back to Youngstown, Ohio. In 2005 I, along with my partner Diana Robles, started an independent media company called SIMA343. It's an LLC that gives us a platform for both commercial and personal work. Past Projects: Cyphonix (2002), Running On Empty (2003), Clarity in Japanese (Cosen_Tasi / 2004-2006), Light Across the Sky (Higher Ground / 2005), Blood and Water (Michael Hernandez / 2006), Apologies and Instincts (Firestone Elementary / 2006). Current Projects: Red Letters (documentary / 2006-2007), Live at Vexfest (Jones for Revival / 2007), Michael Hernandez ( New Release / 2007), Jordan Rice (Atl Gospel / 2007), Cosen_Tasi (upcoming album / 2007-2008), Play The Soft Ones Loud (Soundmind / 2007-2008).

hey bro, just wanted to drop you a note and let you know i think the new (as in old) music you posted is wonderful. i think i could listen to ifl96_72 for the next couple years straight. though i would love to know where you electronic guys get your song naming ideas from. haha. we do our thing on church nights and sometimes i forget how talented you really are. color me reminded. peace to you and keep sending out those positive audio experiences.
