SoundSelective Records is a new tech house/tecno label founded by Milly De Mori and based in New York City.
One of the most prolific DJs from her native homeland, Milly is renowned for her groove based sets, joining the dots from minimal house through to techno with effortless ease.
The label follows the steps of her dj sets, where sophisticated and eclectic moods coexist over powerful dancefloor grooves.
Furthermore the strategic direction is based upon offer good transversal electronic music that rocks the dance floors, shying away from any tag, label, trend or pure genre.
In this respect SoundSelective Records churns out a "hybrid" sound, rich in textures, contaminations and vibes that range from classic house or tecno, to funky rolling basslines or jazzy and tribal percussions, to tecky elements, drawing a red line through all these genres.
First release will hit the stores in late February 09, with Milly De Mori's own Encounters EP.
To follow in March Monopolar - Jalapacaima EP, and in April Luca Doobie - "South America EP"
