Killing off entire systems of intelligent designs with our mind wings and everything
That we can and can not see...

Ghosts in the attic I think they're there, at least I think they're there (I've never seen them myself)
But I've seen them in the closet...

I was getting my jacket
I was looking for something, I don't remember what...
But I remember looking for it and I never found it

Instead I just found a hat,
But I really liked the hat, and so I wore it...

And one day, one day I lost the hat...
I don't know what happened to it...
One minute, it was on my head
and...

The next minute, I heard a loud sound in the attic
And so I went down...
I went down, into the attic to see what it was...
I thought maybe, maybe the water heater was leaking again
Maybe the washing machine was on the fritz...

Maybe there just was a rat...
I don't like rats...

So anyways I went down into the attic and I couldn't find the light,
The light was broken and and so...

I was feeling around in the dark and...
I felt something....
I ran into something and I thought it was a wall, or water heater... or something

And so I put my hands out to touch it...
And... and it was a body...

But it wasn't a live body, it was cold...
Had no pulse...
I thought it was dead...

But, you know...
Apparently I was wrong

So, I thought it was dead and...
I turned around, started running back up the stairs...
And when I got to the door, the body was there, in front of the door and...
How can that happen?

It was down in the attic, just a minute ago... and now it's up here...
How can that happen?

And so, panicked, I tried to climb out the attic window but...
The Thing... it ran down and chased me... followed me... tried to grab my legs
I struggled and I struggled, eventually I got out the window
And I ran
And I ran
And I ran

And then, I fell down...

I couldn't run anymore, I couldn't do it....
I turned around, and nothing was there.

I don't mean nothing as in the ghost wasn't there,
I mean nothing...
Nothing... it was the end... literally the END OF THE WORLD...

I stared off into the blank void of space...
I just stared...
And I stared and I stared and I stared and I stared
And I wondered...

Whats out there?
What happens if I take one... last... final step
Just ONE STEP off this precipice

Will I fall... into something, will I float in space, will I end up nowhere, will I fall back to the start of the planet again, will I f just... just all into a black hole and never be seen again, will I go into a quantum uni...

What happens when you reach the end of the world?
I don't know what happens when you reach the world, I don't know,
I wanted to find out...

But I was too fucking afraid...

And then I woke up.
