Usually Sparkle in Grey was a solo project of Hue (aka Der Einzige, Normality/Edge) which mixed electronic rhythms and melodies with field recordings, but now it's the band you see here.

They're often playing live and they recorded, with Giuseppe Ielasi, the A Quiet Place album, a CD made of minimal rhythms, melancholic melodies, field/objects recordings and some noise, as the usual style of Sparkle in Grey, which is going to be issued in 2008.

They also collaborate with the experimental Italian musician Maurizio Bianchi, aka MB to a CD called Nefelodhis, available on Cold Current and MCL labels.

One official album (with Hue only) is available on Afe, called The Echoes of Thiiings, plus many mp3 releases in the Sparkling Sodality Releases and on ctrl+alt+canc and sine3pm netlabels.
