sunday nites are the slowest. been working on the book since noon, feeling overwhelmed & most certainly as tho i've had three too many cups of coffee. broke for an hour of good conversation w/ someone far away & again a while later when jen popped by. apart from these brief escapes, my entire day has consisted of leafing thru old journals, web sites, stacks of word-riddled paper long forgotten at the back of my closet, etc. & compiling them together on this silly machine. as exhausting an endeavor as this has proven to be (as well as moderately depressing at times & hellishly so at others), i'm inching ever closer to the end: a fact by which i cannot pretend to be unrelieved.

during the aforementioned conversation (a well-timed rescue, i might add), a decision was met between myself & gm to begin a series of list making, which prompted me to dig up that sweet red box of top10 list cards from the game of the same name (woah, that's a whole lotta rhyming). in the process of selecting the 1st card to send along, i thought making a few of my own might help pull me out of this tunnel of self-induced nostalgia i've fallen into in organizing this collection.
