last thursday we had mastered the first recordings that we can all truly agree capture what spider problem is supposed to be about. no slight to ourselves, or any of the other fine recordists we've worked with, but the identity and our own awareness was just not really there yet.

the as of yet unreleased ep entitled natural selections was recorded by our friend rob campanella (brian jonestown massacre, scarling, the tyde, the quarter after, asteroid #4) at the committee headquarters and was mastered by another old friend dave schultz at digiprep who i think just received his first grammy nomination last year for his part in a rhino garage series.
