She can't sing like she can act, but she knows how to make it the best it can be. This album is the probably biggest surprise of 2008. An actress, who makes music, for music's sake. For the actual meaning of it. Not to get more fans, which she certainly didn't. Not to make more money. Just to sing good old Tom Waits songs and make an album that sounds as haunting as it can. Whoever expected another J.Lo or Lindsay Lohan was wrong, because Scarlett actually made an impact.
