MONKS (Abilene, Texas)

In addition to Hailey's (Denton), The Cavern (Dallas) and The Mohawk (Austin), Spune is now booking this cool new room in Abilene, Texas called MONKS. We teamed up with the great people at A Silence Production and are excited about the plans for 2007/2008.

This is sort of ironic since our first shows were in Abilene exactly 10 years ago. We're excited to see a scene thriving there again and look forward to producing some interesting events in Abilene .

Some of the most recent shows were The Album Leaf, Peter and the Wolf and Ryan Lindsey of Starlight Mints. Joy Electric is confirmed to play MONKS as well as several sweet indie shows who we hope to be able to announce real soon. Big plans are in the works for this venue!
