Wolfram Spyra was born in Germany in 1964 and attended Kassel School of Art and Design between 1986-92. He lives and works as a musician, composer and sonic artist in Berlin and London. He wrote the music score for the Oscar winning animation film, `Quest´, and has released 14 albums on independent record labels Fax, Manikin & Richcohet. He has lectured at Coventry and Kassel universities and between 2004-2006, curated major exhibitions of sonic art at the Kulturbahnhof, Kassel. During documenta 9,10 & 11 he participated in the artists local support programme. He has performed at various festivals incl. V2 Rotterdam, EMAF Osnabrueck and special events such as Hessische Landesvertretung, Berlin. Wolfram has undertaken sound commissions for VW, Absolut and West and worked in an advisory capacity for Lufthansa.
