About
Formed in early 2006, this Orange County group aims to bring a new and unique approach to an oversaturated heavy music genre. When founding members recorded their first demo with friend and industry respected producer Beau Burchell (Saosin, The Bled, The Bronx), they realized that these tracks brought a sound and approach that needed to be taken to the next level. The rest of 2006 was spent writing countless new songs and developing the group into the ideal creative output that SSNOVA has now become. In addition to their instrumental roles, each member of the band has a story to tell and inspiration to spread. In late 2006 the band signed with Florida-based label Pinky Ring Records to put out their first EP.
Produced by Shaun Lopez (Deftones, Revolution Smile), SSNOVA's self-titled EP will be released in the Spring of 2007 and the possibilities will be endless from there. Once the EP is complete, the band will resume writing additional songs for a full-length that will possibly be released later in the year.
