I need some help.
So Thursday night I parked on Howell near a very ambiguous sign that I assumed had nothing to do with where I was parking. Clearly, the portion of curb where I parked was not painted yellow and surely, I thought, this "No Stops" sign must correlate to the space in front of my car.
That's the nose of my car, in front of the sign and yellow curb.I suppose I should have thought harder, but I assumed that I was in the clear avoiding the yellow curb and parking along with every other legally parked car on the block. However, according to the City of Seattle, the 12 feet of concrete that I decided to park on was illegal and it will cost me $40 that I don't have. Should I contest it? Do I have a case?

The sign was totally wack, too. This reeks of corruption.
