This weekend I decided to visit my older sister Michelle in Tampa. She lives there with her super awesome husband and 2 little girls and one baby boy on the way. I offered to paint a mural for the new baby's room. When I arrived the plans changed. I was to paint much more. 1 armoire, 1 dresser, 1 mini armoire and 2 chairs. Surprisingly i finished all of it. I painted waves and sailboats. It was definitely one of those before and after projects. She had purchased the {old} furniture and had them painted white... perfect for me to come and spice things up. haha. I'm not gonna lie but I'm pretty tired from it all...but I was honored to do it for her. Yay for family.Above is a picture of my neice Isabella eating artichoke! this little girl amazes me... {she speaks like 4 languages!!}
Sunday came and it was time to visit my dear friend Tammie! She lives about an hour from Tampa in Springhill, FL. I met her up at church and then went to an antique shop {found a huge metal lawn rooster!} and visited an old house that reminds us of the house Noah built in The Notebook. The man who built it in 1912 built it for his wife! Amazing I tell you . I didnt take too many pictures because we weren't supposed to be on the premises. Its a bit dangerous.. but w/e it was awesome.
Monday I headed home with Dad following his car. (he was already in Tampa and drove down with me in his car). We had lunch at Cracker Barrel. I love this man. He is such a good father!
Ps. This is a driver's view of the Skyway Bridge in Tampa... its amazing.
