Stephanie was a member of the celtic crossover band "Puirt a Baroque", touring throughout Canada and earning a 2000 Juno Award nomination for the CD "Return of the Wanderer." With Puirt a Baroque she performed over 100 concerts, including tours throughout Canada, and a live concert on NPR's "Performance Today." In Fall 2005, Stephanie reunited with David Greenberg for a program of Gaelic songs with the Montreal ensemble "La Nef," broadcast on the CBC French and English radio networks. Each summer, she sings at Milling Frolics and other community song events in Cape Breton. Also a choral singer, Stephanie sings with La Chapelle de Quebec (Bernard Labadie), and has also been a member of the Tafelmusik Chamber Choir and Aradia in Toronto.
For many years Stephanie was in radio production, and is also working on a documentary about the Gaelic singers of Cape Breton, "Faithful to the Song." Stephanie has an MA in Musicology, and has given talks and workshops at St. Michael's College at the U of T, the Brott Summer Music Festival and Middle State Tennessee State University.
