Hi. My name is Steve, and I'm a singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer based out of a Toronto living room.
I've been known to do electronic tracks under the moniker 11t1 in the past (look for a compilation of these tunes to appear on iTunes hopefully in the not too distant future), but my main focus right now is on a slightly rootsy, mildly Beatlesque songwriting project. I will be uploading these tracks here as I complete them.

hey steve, youre kinda doing what i'm doing actually - i think. I'm writing all my songs on guitar then making them entirely with sounds. that way, the song writing remains how i'd like it to be (eg: if it sounds good on my knackered old acoustic it'll sound good anywere), but i dont fall into that thing of just making guitar music. I cant help writing on guitar, but dont want it on my songs as such.
Loving the tunes by the way, nice job!

Today, in my soundhole, I found some easter candy. My wife bought some early just for the hell of it over the weekend, and today there's a miniature egg rolling around in my guitar.

Hey, theflame, the only thing electronic about my pop tunes is going to be the means of production. I'm using Ableton Live to record acoustic guitars & vocals without Melodyne plugins. I'm using net collaboration to get live cello players involved in the project, and I'll be laying down the odd mariachi-style trumpet parts.
Samplers will be used on occassion, but only to simultate real world instruments (pianos, drums, bass) where I can't find a suitable real world collaborator.
