Steve Dragon is Stefan Jörg Vesper
electronic music artist, drums & percussion, freelancer in music and graphic arts.

I am producer of electronic music like psychedelic trance/goa, electro, house, ambient and downbeat and also live-musician on drums, percussion, keyboards, guitar and bass. I am experienced in roots- and dub-reggae-rhythms, funk and soul-grooves, and also the music of the prog-rock-bands of the late sixties and early seventies. I love jazz and experimental, crazy sounds.

Since I can remember, music means everything to me, making music and listening to people playing music. This was always really interesting me and whenever I could, I tried to learn and listen about music. This all has started when I was about 3 years old and goes on till today, within my family it was always clear that I would be a musician one time and live of it. Since 1990 I am active in music with several projects, loads of gigs, on tour as studio- and tourdrummer all over the world with gigs in Mexico City, Moscow, Greece, UK, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Swiss, Albania.....

In 1993, friends from India introduced me to goa-trance and psychedelic/acid from goa and anjuna. From then on I was infected with this virus and loved the energy of the music and the nice athmosphere on the parties. So I started playing my own liveact...

I produce tracks for my own project SteveDragon and I am a co-songrwriter/remixer for the famous Darkwave/Electro-band In Strict Confidence. On stage I play live-drums with ISC, too.
I made a lot of remixes for several projects, just to name a few: ASP, The Crüxshadows, In Strict Confidence, Die Krupps, Láme Immortelle, Lava 303.

I work with synthesizers and computermusic since 1988, at that time I had an ATARI ST Computer with Steinberg´s Twentyfour and made first experiments with arranging and sound-programming. This hasn´t stopped till now and I am learning and making experience in sound. Today I work with Apple computers and Steinberg´s Cubase SX3, in the studio theres a lot of nice analog & digital equipment to work with.
