Ahh yes, Talkeetna is a wonderful place. I grew up in a town called Galena, which is located on the Yukon River in central Alaska. We had cross country running meets every year in Talkeetna and my favorite part was eating at the little Sunshine Restraunt there next to the gas station. I miss it very much, Alask a will always be my home, I spent the first 17 years if my live in Galena, and the next 5 in Anchorgage. I am going to Anchorage here in 3 weeks for a visit and I cant wait.. Keep having a great time, and I will say hi to Portland for you :)
