About
Hi! We're Street to Nowhere, from Oakland CA - Though we are rarely around there anymore. We spend most of our lives in our tour van, circling around the United States over and over and over again. In the last year you may have seen us on tour with The Format, Straylight Run, Matt Pond PA, lostprophets, The New Amsterdams, Rocky Votolato, MC Chris, Anathallo, Piebald, Kevin Devine, State Radio, Rainer Maria, or a handful of others. Check our tour dates - we'll probably be somewhere near you soon.
We have an album out called Charmingly Awkward. We recorded it ourselves in our apartments, our parent's basements, a practice space, a cabin, and an awesome studio in Hollywood that allowed us to track in the middle of the night, spending only cash saved from selling demos and t-shirts at shows, and from Dave's serving job at The Fillmore. Capitol Records signed us a little while ago and put Charmingly Awkward out exactly as we recorded it, with our original artwork.
