Radioactive Man aka Keith Tenniswood co-runs the excellent underground imprint Control Tower with The Dexorcist. He has worked on countless projects and remixes as Two Lone Swordsmen with sparring partner Andrew Weatherall for the likes of Primal Scream, Spiritualized and David Holmes. He has also released 2 solo albums, a stack of EP's and contributed to the Fabric mix CD series. Finalising the forthcoming releases on Control Tower and adding the finishing touches to his third album, expect to hear tonight some upfront bass tunage.
Transparent Sound's stunning live performances have seen them deliver electronic mayhem worldwide at numerous events including the Sonar festival in 2005. No stranger to the collaboration, the pair joined up with Radioactive Man in 2002 to create the acclaimed mix album Beats Clash-Volume 1 Radioactive Man v Transparent Sound. Last year they released a double live/mix CD entitled The Two Headed Monster with Craig Richards on their own label Orson Records. The boys are currently beavering away in the studio on a mystery collaborative project with Shelley Parker ... watch this space ...
Recruited to the Haywire roster after witnessing her DJ skills at the art-inspired electro night Nerd, Shelley Parker's sonic playgrounds have since included Fabric, The End, Encompass and Tate Britain. Her refusal to be restricted to one style and her versatility, has seen her adeptly flick between genre's playing alongside the slick company of Magda, Si Begg and Plastician. Tonight she joins the dots with one of her inimitable DJ sets of electro/techno/bass gear.
