Subtle People's music should be paired with a tender mood. The attitude is romantic. The lyrics are poetic and somewhat triumphant. The beats are intended to be dance-able or set a groove that moves the body. The vocal arrangements are matured pop. This music tends to be drum machine-driven, and has a fair share of guitars -clean, dirty, and steel-string acoustic. Layers are textured with samples and synths. Subtle People aim to create imaginitive, fashionable music.
