I am: a lifelong New Yorker who planned for many years to leave the city as soon as possible, but has recently grown to like it here; a product of non-schooling and eventual GED recipient who graduated college with honors and without arbitrary gestures; a freelance writer/editor, ESL teacher, and occasional web designer; a skeptic, a cynic, and an optimist.
